Saturday’s Ride was a rolling chat with me, E and Michael M (now officially known as Old Mike, he’s confirmed it). We took a ride up to County A and MB to Hunt Club back for a casual 50 warm-up for Sunday’s big event.

Sunday’s Ride the BCLC Ramble
Knowing the temps were going to rise we got rolling at 7am for a 15 mile warm-up to the first rest stop. A very smart BCLC map guy suggested we do the largest and most exposed Blue Loop first to help with the also increasing winds. Good move.
Kathy, E, Jim, Scott, Tim 2 and myself took on the challenge of the day. We stayed together the entire ride helping each other in rotating pace lines where we could. It got very windy and the temperature pushed past 93F.

Ready to go, Kathy arrived at the start 2 hours early.
The BCLC route had four loops all coming back to the same central rest stop, they also had tons of SAG vehicles on the road. (Does anyone know what SAG stands for?) Our very own Donald and his wife Sally kept an eye on us all day. We could feel the love, thanks.

Bananas eaten on Ramble–3,000, Tim 2 got this one.
The Red and Yellow Loops were hilly parts of the ride mostly in areas we ride in all the time around Lake Geneva, Pell Lake and Twin Lakes. Our same roads with a mess of new roads thrown in. Good selection from the Map Committee.
The White Loop brought us home to the start at Wilmot Fairgrounds for a milage total of 100.

Isasio with Scott at the start when he was still a virgin.
Scott’s first Century
We can’t let the day go by without saying congratulations to Scott on his first century ride, glad we could share the experience. It didn’t hurt that much now did it?
Until next week, Ride Safe.
