“Protect your Crown!” — Wear your Helmet!

It’s surprising to see how many people are still riding our city streets and neighborhood sidewalks without helmets. I’ve created this image as a public service to help bring awareness to this issue. I am always telling people to wear a helmet on every ride, no matter how short, slow or close to home it may be.

I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for my helmet. Not half a mile from my house just rolling along to get on a path a stick jumped up into my front spokes. This caused the front wheel to come to a full stop, throwing me head first on to the pavement. I split that helmet at less than 10 mph.

It doesn’t take much. So if you have a moment–PLEASE SHARE THIS IMAGE. Let others know you care, you might save a life. If you want hi-res versions for your shop or business just let me know and I’ll be glad to help out.

Be safe out there.

Mike
