Scully's

This morning’s ride with Keith found us rolling north to Silver Lake up to the coffee shop at the nursery–it wasn’t open yet. So we went back down the hill to Scully’s Grill across from Silver Lake. I’ve always wanted to stop there.

Well we were both glad we did because it was the perfect place to warm up on this cool 49ºF July 2 morning.

We had coffee, eggs and Rye toast–I was very excited about the Rye toast, I don’t get out much.

Oh, right, the wisdom – as Keith and I were riding along talking about life, as we often do he said to me “Don’t wish your life away” meaning make it happen today, there may not be another opportunity.

I thought that was wisdom.
