In four weeks I’ll be boarding a plane bound for London. I’ll visit a good friend when I arrive, pick up a bicycle from Pearson Cycles, get fit on the bike, go to sleep and start what I hope is the easy part of this story.
The Duchenne Dash – London to Paris in 24 hours – 300k. Training and riding – the easy part.
But it’s not all roses.
So as the body gets fit, the mind worries less knowing I’ve done all I can do to prepare for a 200 mile, 24 hour charity ride to benefit the DuchenneUK.org But it’s not just about the ride, it’s about raising funds to battle this terrible disease. And this is where I am failing them.

I know you have many other charities asking for donations and you can’t give to them all. I get it, I’m in the same place. But if you have just a few dollars it helps – it adds up.
