Flats happen. Even to Peter.

with No Comments

I was so looking forward to watching Peter Sagan in the Men’s Rio Olympics mountain bike race. I thought he could at least place on the podium. And for a few moments I was on the edge of my seat because it looked like it could actually happen.

Then the flat happened. I’m told by my friends that ride mountain bikes ( I don’t anymore because I hit too many trees ) it’s because Peter isn’t a mountain biker any more. That if you don’t pick the right line you hammer your bike and that includes your tires. I guess that makes sense but it sure would have been fun to see.

So I’m bummed out right now but I’ll never give up hope, maybe in Tokyo Peter can try high diving. That looks like fun.
