Just because the Tour of Switzerland takes place in June doesn’t mean it won’t have it’s cold days. And since it’s frigid here in Chicago right now with temperatures well below zero, I was inspired by the cold.
With snow-covered Alpine peaks and lush green valley floors, Switzerland sets a stunning backdrop for this annual pro cycling event. One can only wonder if cycling pristine roads between towering mountains can make you forget the pain your legs are in, even if only for a brief moment.
