Cycling in Italy!
From the moment I stepped off the plane in Australia for the Tour Down Under, I was gathered up and pampered by Ride International Tours owner Grace Fitzpatrick. As if I was her only charge for the day she was always by my side with wit, charm and an experienced travelers guidance.
You can experience this same warm hospitality during the last week of the 2019 Giro d’Italia along with me and and a handful of other cyclists while riding in the famed Dolomites. We’ll cycle up famous climbs under the professional eye of Pat Fitzpatrick, Grace’s husband the other half of the heart and soul of Ride International Tours.
Join me in Italy.
Each day you’re in Italy you’ll ride on roads made famous over the 102 year history of the Giro. You’ll cycle unique rides and routes each day designed to suit your personal needs and wants. With professional cycling guides that know the roads, the customs and the local favorite places you will be immersed in Italian cycling culture.
My head swoons at the thought of riding The Stelvio, Lake Como/ Madonna Ghisallo, Mortirolo, Gavia, Sella Ronda Loop and many more classics in the Dolomites. What an amazing opportunity.
While I’m there I will be drawing along the race routes. I’ll cycle most days with the group, maybe shorter on some days as race details dictate but I will be an active participant in the rides with you. I won’t want to miss the big climb days, neither will you so start training now.
If you travel with someone that wants to experience the Giro and all that Italy can offer, but not ride, no worries. Ride International Tours provides non-rider optional activities each day of the trip. And you can always get to a race location early and hang out with me as I work. I’d love the company.
Only a few spots left.
The 2019 Giro d’Italia Ride International Tour is almost full. I just learned about this amazing trip which is why I’m sharing it with you now. Act quickly and join us in Italy for the trip of a lifetime.
Visit Ride International Tours website for all the dates, ride details and expenses. If you have any questions ask me or email Grace Fitzpatrick directly, she’ll know best how to get you an answer.
Travel with confidence.
I’ve been to thirty-seven stages of the Tour de France — in a motorhome…. and the difference with having a professional touring company take care of all my logistical needs, provide experienced advice, a riding schedule with guided routes and charming hospitality…. is priceless.
Andiamo!
