Ha! You thought I said “Natural Break” as in stopping to pee! I didn’t. I said “Nature Break” which is how most of my rides are these days because I’m on the trail so much. Filled with nature.
Truth is I don’t really have bunnies and kitties sitting on fence posts looking off in the distance like this, but it’s close. Most of the trails I ride in Illinois and Wisconsin are carved through great farms and forest preserves – I’m a lucky guy when it comes to really great places to ride my bike.
There’s at least one classic red barn and silo on every road or trail ride we take. It’s like me and the Veloist CC ride in a travel brochure for Wisconsin. That is until the swirling winds and freezing temps make life a wee bit uncomfortable. But that’s another story. For now, I’ll take riding in a perfect world. I like it that way.
