Pinot storms Ventoux.

with No Comments

July 14 is Bastille Day, a national holiday in France and it’s a very, very good day to be wearing the King of the Mountains Jersey on this day. Even more so if you’re Thibaut Pinot of the French FDJ Team. Current KOM leader.

So no matter what happens on today’s stage, if it is cut short or goes the full distance to the top of Mont Ventoux — storming up the side of the Giant of Provence, in first place or last will be a big deal for the French fans and cycling fanatics everywhere.

Best of luck Mr Pinot!

No matter how the day ends we do know it’s a good day to be a French bike rider in a leaders jersey.
