Tour de France 1903 | Cycling Art Print
La Grande Boucle!
Tour de France 1903 was the first time this iconic race took place. A brutally difficult loop around France to help promote L’Auto magazine before it became the now modern version L’Équipe. Still making trips around France the race is the largest rolling billboard for sponsors in the world – and you can watch it for free on the side of the road. Vive le Tour!
The original painting for this print was created on a 40×60 inch canvas with acrylic paints. Layered to create a textured finish and designed to have a sense of the golden poster age, with a modern flair.

TDF 2020 | Turned Upside Down | Cycling Art Print
Cycling world on its head!
The 2020 Covid-19 pandemic has hammered the planet in ways that have been unimaginable – it has also weighed heavily on the cycling world. With the cancellations and moving of so many local and World Tour events we’ve never seen anything like this before.
So I’ve turned the iconic symbol of France on its head, The Cycling World is Upside Down.
The original painting, this print is made from, was a labor of love to be sure, there are three other versions under the final painting as I looked for the perfect image to capture the chaos in the world today. For me this work represents a symbolic milestone as I continue to look for images that have greater impact on the viewer.
I think anyone that hangs this print in their home, this print will carry strong memories of a world in distress and the power of the human spirit to find a way to move forward.

Long live the Tour de France! The French Coq is a symbol of strength and power, it’s also the official bird of France which is why I chose it for this year’s 2022 Tour de France Cycling Art Poster. The Queen of the Classics. A Monument of Cycling. Paris – Roubaix has been tearing apart bicycles and riders since 1896 and we can’t ever get enough of it. A savage race over the cobbled roads of northeast France the race passes through some of the worlds most war torn, hallowed lands.The famed cobbled roads are lined with raging fans from around the world – the men and women that race Roubaix turn themselves inside out just to finish, let alone prevail. This print, available in various sizes from an original watercolor was created to capture the exhausted cyclist. — Man, I love this race.

Coming to America.
Fayetteville 2022 UCI CX | The Cyclocross world came to Fayetteville USA for 2022 UCI World Championship Cyclocross! With CX stars like Wout Van Aert, Mathieu Van her Poel, Lucinda Brand, Marianne Voss and so many more. This was a rare event to witness in person and worthy of an iconic cycling art print hanging in your pain cave.

You must love the Stones.
Paris-Roubaix, one of the five cycling monuments and my personal favorite. It is defined by the rough cobbles that make up much of the demanding route. I’ve just added a bit of playful color with a combination of bold brush work, pallet knives and some poured paint in the black outlines. Let this colorful addition to your home remind you how much you love The Queen of the Classics, Paris-Roubaix.

Trouée d’Arenberg | Valenti Cycling Art Print
The entrance to hell.
The Trouée d’Arenberg or Tranchée de Wallers-Arenberg is a 2.3 km long cobbled road in the municipality of Wallers in Northern France, in the Département Nord. – Ha!
But it’s so much more than that, it is a beast of a cobbled road in the heart of the Paris-Roubaix classic, a killer of a road, a game maker or breaker. Since it’s inclusion into the Hell of the North the Arenberg trench has changed the outcome of many, many races. Ghastly at best, simply diabolical at it’s wet and muddy worst.
I painted this image on a calm spring morning with sunshine and happiness, it still destroyed the peloton. Man I love this race.

A cyclist for all times.
Eddy Merckx is the undisputed all-time biggest winning professional bike rider on the planet. He has had competitors but not many. Five times winning the Tour de France. Five times winning the Giro d’Italia. Seven times winning Milan-San Remo, three times conquering the cobbles of Paris-Roubaix and the list goes on to a stunning 525 professional wins.
Nicknamed “The Cannibal” for his insatiable appetite for winning, Eddy Merckx came to the start line to gobble up the competition and only to win.
It took me a while to finalize this image, and if you’re wondering about the “heart” dimple, well thats my little nod to his master frame builder, Ugo De Rosa.

Solitude | Valenti Original Art Print
Full immersion.
I ride my bike by myself but I am never alone. I am always surrounded by wonder. And the world of my imagination. The quiet of the snow falling is deafening. The steadiness of my breathing and the turn of the crank keep time. The squeak of the snow under my tires tells me its cold but I don’t feel it. My world is most full when it is empty.
“Solitude” is the third of my large landscape paintings. It is 72×48 inches acrylic on canvas and makes you just want to go outside and ride. To find your happy place on a bicycle. To find your piece of perfection that makes you love what you do, who you are and where you live. I know how you feel, I’m just like you. The work you do on a bicycle is a work of love, there is no pain only full immersion into the landscape, into the world you are living in.

Paris-Roubaix Pavé | Valenti Cycling Art Print
It’s all about the cobblestones.
The Pavé (Cobblestones), make up a vital part of the Paris-Roubaix race route. With stones as large as “baby heads” according to the Belgians, these brutal, rural roads just eat bicycles, wheels and riders. Saved from the horrible fate of being smoothed over with asphalt, the pavé are here to stay.
Paris-Roubaix just wouldn’t be the same without the stones. This print was made from an original watercolor painting.

Gino Bartali | Legend | Cycling Art Print
Gino the Pious.
Bartali was a two time winner of the Tour de France, 1938 and 1948 – and a three time winner of the Giro d’Italia, 1936, 1937 and 1946. Along with numerous Grand Tour stage victories, classics and stage races. A powerful climber Bartali did his most damage in the mountains winning Mountain stage classifications for many years.
During the Second World War, Bartali was allowed to continue training and used this as a cover for his role helping the Resistance and persecuted Jews by smuggling secret documents inside the frame of his bike. In 2013 he was recognized for his war efforts by Yad Vashem and awarded the honor Righteous Among the Nations.
