Holy ground.

I’ve stood in the shadow of the chapel Madonna del Ghisallo in Italy and cried when they rang the bells for the riders coming up the road. A very, very special place in the cycling world. This is my first painting with more to come as I look for the perfect image for the Race of the Falling Leaves.

This painting was created with acrylic paints on watercolor paper. Slightly larger than my watercolors and smaller than my acrylics on canvas. Only one, no prints will be available.
