USA Cyclocross National Championships
The 2017 USA Cyclocross National Championships will be held in Hartford, CT in January 2017. The event will take place at Riverside Park and is hosted by USA Cycling, The Connecticut Cycling Advancement Program Organization and Riverfront Recapture .
This Official Fundraising Poster was created in a joint agreement with the CCAP and approved by USA Cycling to use their logo mark. Proceeds will benefit the CCAP.
As I thought about what to draw for this work the idea of the “Stars and Stripes” jersey seemed a most natural fit. After all, that is what everyone on the course will be chasing – a chance to pull on the “Stars and Stripes” – jersey of the USA Cyclocross National Champion.
To make the image more personal to the Hartford, CT event venue I added my graphic interpretation of the Bulkeley Bridge behind the cross racer.
