The plane tickets have been purchased, the Motorhome has been hired and hotel rooms have been booked all for the Tour de France – Valenti 21 Days of Cycling Art. It won’t be long now until Keith and are chasing the peloton everyday during the TdF.
Flying from Chicago to France me and Keith – oh, Keith is my good friend and he’s driving the Motor Home – MOHO – and taking pictures. We’ll be leaving a few days before the TdF starts and driving from Paris to Dusseldorf for the start of stage one.
Our motor home (MOHO) has been booked through France Motorhome Hire. They specialize in putting Tour de France packages together for passionate fans like us. Located just south of Paris we’ll pick up the MOHO, drive to Germany, follow the tour and return to Paris. It’s going to be amazing!
And for the last two days of our trip we’ll be in a little boutique hotel called Hôtel La Comtesse by Elegancia. Located in the heart of Paris, minutes from the Eiffel Tower. Pinch me, I’m dreaming.
I’m still looking for interested sponsors, supporters and anyone that might be able to help make this trip even more amazing. If you know anyone that lives along the 2017 Tour de France route let me know — we’ll park in their yard! And if you’re going to be at the tour, please let me know because meeting friends along the way and sharing the experience is a big part of why I’m doing this once in a life time adventure.
