Utah Beach | Stage One Tour de France

with No Comments

Stage One of the 2016 Tour de France ends in a bunch sprint at Utah Beach in Normandy. The area was made famous with the Allied Landing on D-Day during WWII, June the 6th, 1944.

My drawing is a nod of the head in thanks to the soldiers that gave it all for our freedom on the beaches that are still littered with tanks and barriers. What a special day, on this our July 4th weekend. Chapeau!
