Ah yes, the wonders of spring as life returns to the frozen tundra I call home in Northern Illinois. Birds chirping. Flowers blooming. And of course worms on every morning ride. Worms on my bottom bracket. Worms in my spokes, worms between my brake pads and rim. Worms everywhere.
And to be honest it’s not the worms that really bother me, it’s that I don’t clean them off right away and they harden to stone. Maybe I should be more attentive to my bicycle care but I don’t have the time, I’m too busy enjoying the ride.
This is a little drawing from my sketch book.
